MGBC Worship Team Expectations
By agreeing to be part of the worship team, you acknowledge that...
- ...you have given your life to Christ and trusted Him as Savior.
- ...you intend to live your life in a manner pleasing to Christ, both publicly and privately.
- NOTE: We don't expect perfection from anybody, but we do trust that anyone who leads from up front has a good testimony.
- ...you will do your best to come to rehearsal on time and prepared.
- ...you will follow MGBC's "On Stage Dress Guidelines." (See below)

On Stage Dress Guidelines
Worship team, choir, etc.
At MGBC we strive to create a “come as you are” environment. We may ask team members to “dress up” or color match a little more for bigger services like Christmas Eve or Easter. For most services, we are fine with “casual dress.”
Our ultimate goal is to point everybody’s attention to Jesus through the songs we lead. In an effort to draw attention away from ourselves, please avoid wearing the following:
If you are unsure of an outfit prior to services, feel free to ask.

- Shirts with large graphics or logos.
- Ministry-related shirts are okay (MGBC, Camp, Synergy, etc.)
- Tops with a low neckline, see-through material, strapless or have spaghetti straps.
- Tight/form-fitting shirts, shorts, dresses, skirts and pants (including uncovered leggings).
- Skirts, dresses, or shorts that end significantly above the knee.
